Last time he was in the UK he picked up a bunch of kit from here. Or at least, he'd ordered it from the EU but shipped it to the UK or something. So, if you think it's expensive here, feel sorry for the desert dwellers. ;)
My missus would leave me if I got into modulars. I make enough noise with the few toys I have and they barely get used these days - 'because London'.

This is exactly how I’d like to spend my time but a decent starter set up is about £1.5k and then friends tell me it becomes something of a money pit. It’s synths or cycling basically.
