Policies under the 'Green New Deal' are good in theory. Calling it the Green New Deal doesn't make much sense in the UK though. In the US context it obviously evokes Roosevelt's New Deal. I would think at least 80% of the UK population would give you a blank stare if you referenced Roosevelt's New Deal. Copying the name 'Green New Deal' from AOC was obviously a bit lazy.
