The material between the two holes I'd 'drilled' in the guard for the seatstay bridge cable-tie had snapped, so I've glued another cable tie there to reinforce the guard for the bridge cable-tie.
Epic dredge, but reading back on this thread so thought I'd share this tutorial on plastic welding. I've used it a number of times from motorbike fairings to fridge bottle shelves. Generally I use heavy duty staples trimmed to size but also copper wire.
