Further up the thread I saw @spotter posting his 15 quid Casio on a textile strap for camping use.
I kind of want to copy the idea. A cheap watch on one of those fake elastic straps that I can wear when doing DIY, working out, servicing my bike etc.
So far the best I've found is this Casio World for 26 quid. Inside my head I am trying to work out a messy venn diagram with circles for cheap, can be put on a strap (i.e. not G Shock), durable, ideally solar powered, not too bulky etc etc. Would welcome other suggestions.
