Apex casing - thicker sidewalls than a normal Evo, so like a Maxxis DoubleDown

Presumably I wanted the non-Apex, E-25 (whatever the fuck that means) version?

MTB compounds are fucking shit. Usually I just give up and buy the first correctly-sized cheap thing.

Someone should make a nice comparison tool perhaps. No mortal can pick the optimum for their needs when there's 5 manufacturers each with 17 versions of their 9 different tyres.
