• Good point. Yeah, I bought a couple of the £6 'Erika' straps that everyone else bought. So I would struggle to fit a cheap Casio onto that?

    I've seen the youtube tutorials for how to adapt a G shock to a textile strap, but those adapters look a bit clunky. Not very keen.

  • You'll run into the problem I faced, in that most casio like that have pretty narrow lugs with comparatively big shoulders, the built in straps are designed to compensate for this hence the G-Shock adaptors. If you don't you get a weird tiny strap on a chonky body

    Also another issue is that many of the bodies aren't designed for thicker fabric straps, so you may have to chop a big of the plastic off the body to get it through, which i've done before putting a NATO on a MQ-24-7BLL.

    All of this is what drew me to the W-59B as it comes with a fabric strap from stock so its easy enough to replace.
