  • Christmas present for a friend: technical / interesting / outdoorsy corkscrew. Like if snowpeak made a corkscrew and it was £10.

    I’ve found this, which’ll be good, but I expect y’all have some good ideas too.

    Don’t really want to spend more than £20 or £30.

  • I’d been looking at these - I imagine the cast handle and weirdness would be a hit, but I’m dubious of it’s function for every day opening, not just crumbly corks. He drinks funky natural wines that are rarely more than a year old.

    Think it’s a good-un though. Thanks for the nudge.

  • A double hinged waiters friend is really the 'best' corkscrew.

  • Never had any luck with those, suspect it is my technique.
