As above - 3 months more of reinforcing the failure and indecisive nature of his leadership and by extension the Labour party. The tories are going to push through whatever they can while the public's relief in not having to engage with politics can be exploited. Now more than ever we need an opposition to call this out. Obviously they can still railroad it through but giving the tories completely free reign is not good for anyone.
TBH I don't care if they take six months to sort out the next permanent leader, but having Corbyn still in place for any longer just continues the damage.

This. The first 3 months are really critical for new govts. I believe they plan them heavily, and in this case it will include the withdrawal agreement. They're going to get a free pass on it all - it's a gift.
Everything to do with the withdrawal agreement in particular will be responded to referencing how Corbyn couldn't make his mind up.
