• @johnnettles2 Strange dimensions, a custom frame presumably?

I had a rather nasty crash a few months back which resulted in quite a few fractures and a punctured lung for me and a wrecked front wheel, written-off forks and a cracked headtube lug on my Colorado. Thanks to the good people at Laka, Havebike and Argos, the frame has had a new lug fitted, replacement forks sorted and a new lick of paint. Argos also painted the original steel forks for only an extra fiver.

Just waiting on it coming back to me so I can rebuild it. Unfortunately my body is taking slightly longer to recover but hopefully it and I will be back on the road before too long. I wish I could've sent my body to Argos at the same time.

  • Wow looks lovely- great colour choice. Yep, this frame and my other titanium serotta were both custom for people with long legs and shorter upper bodies /arms

  • Haha, nice self-portrait.

RE: the colour - it’s actually two colours, so the front and back of each tube profile have the lighter and the sides have the darker of these two shades. I’ve yet to see it in the flesh so am interested to know how it will look in real life!

Will build up with black carbon Columbus forks and then the same record/chorus 10 speed parts as before with neutron ultras
