With that much post out/little post in that Cannondale is sure to Crack’n’fail.

some 2.1s will be OK for the summer but you'll be under the 5-6mm ideal clearances if it's an MTB treaded tyre -

It give me anxiety cause it look like the seatpost is right at the edge.
-
• #9858
Yeah, even if that’s the four hundred and something millimetre one, there cannot be very much post inside the frame at all.
-
• #9859
Is there’s a maximum height? Like the more seatpost the more leverage and stress being put on a frames.
-
• #9860
I always just go by the ‘make sure the post goes past the toptube/seatstay junction(s)’ rule.
I think frames sometimes have a max extension spec but I’ve never seen it for any frame I’ve owned.
-
• #9861
This is my rule, but with that much post showing I’d want at least 100mm in the frame!

What fork is that?
Btw, my old Dale looked similarly insane from a seatpost perspective. Thomson 410mm, well within its limits.
...and then I got old and lowered it a bit.

Nice Cannondale. Looks great with the wider tyres.

• #9865
It has to live up to it's reputation in one way or another.
-
• #9866
That was a time of headshoks and lefties, is it not a more modern fork?
-
• #9867
I'm trying to figure out where I found the pic to ask the owner about that.

Thanks, here's a bonus photo.

No idea what fork that is. Looks suspension corrected for a 26” wheel.
They did do a rigid 1.5” steerer fork but it came on a 29er. There was something similar on a bad boy model too. But that looks too short.
Tl;dr not seen anything like it.

Looks like it to me, with matching paint and decals

So disgusting it's great.
In lack of a better place to post this I'll just leave this here. The fork looks so god damn fit, I love it.
@yetidamo sorry to read about your bike related problems man but it'll work out in the end. Your next bike will be the radest for sure. Chin up!
