some 2.1s will be OK for the summer but you'll be under the 5-6mm ideal clearances if it's an MTB treaded tyre

It give me anxiety cause it look like the seatpost is right at the edge.

Yeah, even if that’s the four hundred and something millimetre one, there cannot be very much post inside the frame at all.

Is there’s a maximum height? Like the more seatpost the more leverage and stress being put on a frames.

I always just go by the ‘make sure the post goes past the toptube/seatstay junction(s)’ rule.

I think frames sometimes have a max extension spec but I’ve never seen it for any frame I’ve owned.

This is my rule, but with that much post showing I’d want at least 100mm in the frame!

Btw, my old Dale looked similarly insane from a seatpost perspective. Thomson 410mm, well within its limits.

I actually thought about your bike when I found the pic, I love how you build it up in the 3rd picture and the Turbine cranks compliment the frame nicely. I haven't got a clue about the fork tbh, someone in the Cannondale thread, maybe @Howard might know.

It has to live up to it's reputation in one way or another.

That was a time of headshoks and lefties, is it not a more modern fork?

No idea what fork that is. Looks suspension corrected for a 26” wheel.

They did do a rigid 1.5” steerer fork but it came on a 29er. There was something similar on a bad boy model too. But that looks too short.
