Hopefully Brexit slowly drops down the agenda over the coming years (at least the question of leave/ remain from a strict legal pov, which it appears will now be decided in the next month or so) other issues will come to the fore and will frame the debate.
Labour were scrambled by Brexit and the Tories had a simple message - that's why they won. Now the question of whether or not Labour is Leave or Remain will disappear as irrelevant, they'll have to accept the situation and we'll need to discuss other issues.
I doubt most Leavers have thought much about customs union, single market, hard/soft Brexit etc. They supported Brexit like they supported a football team - it was all about "winning". Now they have "won", hopefully a sensible political party can begin to gain ground.
The only hope I see is a long way off.
