Gove's victory speech sounded like they just vanquished the evil antisemite Corbyn. Corbyn allowed this to fester, and it's been a powerful tool for the Tories.

It's not the taint of antisemitic allegations that damaged him and Labour in the regional heartlands.

Agree. But the Tories had a lot of strings to their bows and this one was powerful.

Finchley & Golders Green had a 20% collapse in the Labour vote

But Corbyn and anti-Semitism stopped Labour making any gains elsewhere. Instead of the electoral map being redrawn the Tories just won everywhere!
