That’s why some of us think all this anti-Blairism has thrown the baby out with the bath water - if we want a left wing government in this country, it’s going to have to be one that appeals to be centre right, cause we’re so fucking skewed as a nation.
Or else we can be politically pure and complain about how in Europe it’s different, and be blocked out power for another decade.

No. Swathes of traditionally left voters voted against immigration. And swathes of traditionally conservative voters voted for remain or for remain politicians. Your compass is wrong. The left in this country needs a new map.
