  • Never knew that was a thing. I would think a stand keeping it upright would be more useful on a cargo bike especially if it's loaded. I've got the classic one on my Bullitt but some guy on the net started fabricating some conventional ones which just seam strange to me. Can't wrap my head around it.

  • If you have a lot of weight and the ground is uneven its quite hard to get it on and off the stand, and the stand will eventually break, there is a steel/chromo version which is burlier but heavier. The side stand mod makes it easier with large loads and saves a bit of weight (I know), also better for very rough ground like in that photo.
    R+M have a really tough stand which is easy to get on and off, but only gives the front wheel some 2cm of ground clearance, so unless your on very very flat ground it just kind of sits to one side and/or wobbles backwards down the hill its on.
