We were paying a bag of sand a month before the 30 free hours kicked in, subsequently lost due to redundancy. Luckily my job is safe-ish and the redundancy payout was healthy. Christ, imagine being one pay check away from heading down the bennies office and still voting tory because your newspaper told you to be scared of commies, imagine if that happened
