The first few tracks on that live set are right up my street - my 2 year old heard it coming from the phone & demanded it be put on the tv and is now spinning in circles at 80mph declaring she loves "tenko"
There's a great techno club in Paisley in the basement of an Indian restaurant in the arse end of nowhere - it's mental but gets some pretty good guests, club69, bit of an institution up here

Ha, yeah, I know Andy, one of the guys that ran it. We kinda lost contact after Facebook killed my account. I always threatened to go up there but never got around to it.

Haha, small world - I took a couple of my mates from down south one night & they were amazed a place like that could still exist "yeah mate, you just walk through through the deserted inustrial estate for a couple of blocks, entrance is round the back of the random Indian restaurant on the right" they got right into the swing of things eventually & weren't seen for 2 days afterwards :D
Think optimo are playing there soon, I casually mentioned this to my wife a couple of weeks ago who cut me off mid sentence reminding me we are the wrong side of 40 & possess an extremely loud toddler who does not care if you are ever feeling fragile...

That sounds familiar, they might well have been at some point- not sure if they ran nights there or were more involved tbh... it briefly closed a couple of years ago, the council had left it alone for years as there was never any hassle but I think there was some after hours shenanigans in the area that brought the spotlight on them & enforced a slight hiatus... techno will never die, lol
