Had come to London to meet up with some Swiss friends and go clubbing. Not having drunk or taken drugs for years it didn’t occur to me to mention UK drug laws.
One of my friends had half a pill in his pocket, Swiss laws are pretty lax around personal use. Security found the half in his pocket and all three of us were denied entry due to guilt by association. So a colossal waste in terms of our travel, tickets to the party etc.
However we had a fun evening chatting at the air bnb apartment we had booked for the night.
I am still a little stunned but also amused that I got away with so much misbehaviour for years in nightclubs and got busted by proxy now.
