Depends on the make and model of your mech. It will have a total tooth capacity which is front rings range plus rear cassette range. In your case, it’s 0 + 25 = 25 teeth.
The chain ring size depends on the gear ratios you want. In your case it’s 30-98 inches which is ok for most riding.
