You do know that lower emissions is a good thing? How long you've got left is anyone's guess, but legislation normally significantly affects new cars a long time before those already in the field. On the other hand restrictions like ULEZ may affect you faster, depending on where you live. I've had the same thoughts as you though and consider my current car to be my last petrol engined 'performance' one.
If i actually managed to save enough money to restore it does anyone have an educated idea of how long i'd realistically have left to enjoy my 92 Saab T16S on the roads?
I'm really not engaged in the car world these days but everything i read sounds like we're heading to hybrid/electric or new ultra low emissions only sooner rather than later.
Pisses me off as this is the newest car i've owned but that won't mean didly when it fails its next emissions test.
