• Every time I wear this Monster it makes me wonder if it is I'm fact the best watch in my collection. So little to fault it on.

The bracelet is comfortable and well made, it's light for a steel diver, doesn't sit tall, legible dial, bright lume, accurate, good depth rating, nicely domed crystal, secure bezel....and only cost me £140 7 years ago.

EDIT: Although I do have one negative memory of it. I bought it from Yorkshire Watches and after about 6 months it started to lose time really badly so I sent it in for a warranty repair. They sent me an email saying that they wouldn't repair it as clearly somebody had opened the case and been tinkering with it. I had not opened the case and had bought it from them from new. When I told them this they grumbled, basically called me a liar and fixed it anyway. Glad they're out of business.

  • Meant to say, I like your attempt to DIY a cyclops bubble like on the new ones.

I really do dig the newest model. Must resist.

  • You need to be careful with introducing objective analysis to your watches - once you start down that path all roads lead to G-Shock (or Garmin etc) and the Trinity disappear in a puff of logic.
