Just how ugly it is, I think. Plus that, as a manually operated valve, it’s an inferior solution to the Rolex design (or the Seiko solution of superior sealing to keep the helium out in the first place).
It doesn’t really bother me, personally, and yeah, it is definitely a signature of the 300M. As is the scalloped bezel that’s unnecessarily difficult to operate. ;)
