In the words of great Marie Kondo; it sparks joy. Very few bikes i have loved when i rode them first time. Brompton was definitely one and the emonda. Cant remember any other bikes i have owned in the past or now made me as happy first time.
Its unbelievably efficient and intuitive. Its hardly a cargo bike when you ride it.
Alfine 8 was good choice, the gear ratio is perfect.
Next challenge; ride up hills loaded.

My 7 month pregnant girlfriend manages the kilometer long 4% climb with the firstborn and shopping in the lowest gear, so you should be fine.
Did you get the sunscreens with the canopy? Can't see them in the pictures, think they are part of the package.
