You know what? I think it's only been in the last couple of months that I feel rely comfortable behind the wheel... I drive over 300kms a week so I should be used to it by now...

Passed my test around the same time (think I was 17), got my first car a few months before my 30th. Booked a 2 hour refresher lesson with an instructor. The only trouble I really had was fine clutch control when taking off (didn't help that the instructor had a diesel), but that sorted itself out after a few weeks.

TS How long has it taken you to feel comfortable driving, I passed my test when i was 18 haven't driven since but think if I come back to the UK I'll have to drive, it scares me a bit.
