Colnago C96 Frame and Forks £100

Selling my old Colnago C96 frame. Made of Columbus Thron (the original small diameter version).

56mm ctc seat-tube, 58mm ctt seat-tube, 56mm ctc top-tube. 130mm rear spacing. Takes 28mm tyres. 27.2 seat post.

A few issues: dent in top tube (pictured), plaint is terrible and falls off if you look at it, and the headset and crown race require shims. I’ve used “drinks can” to shim the crown race and lower headset, and it works fine with no issues. There’s a tad of grittiness to the headset, but it’s ok, and I wouldn’t bother to change it.

Looks a bit “ratty”, but rides great.

Pick up from Leyton, east London, next to the Underground station/ASDA car park.
