If you play with it docked a lot then absolutely. Although for games like Smash Bros I still prefer the GameCube style controllers

If anyone sees a Logitech g29 on special for the American Festival of Capitalism, let me know.
Edit: Please.

Does anyone use Logitech's Lightspeed wireless stuff? Any good? Battery life? Latency? Reliable crossing between MacOS and Bootcamp? I currently use a wired Logitech G403 but need a new mouse - if it's wired it'd need to be USBC but would be interested in wireless if we're 'there' in terms of the tech yet. But this doesn't mean you're right about wires @chrisbmx116

I've got a G603 mouse and a G613 keyboard. Due to our current living arrangement the PC is situated behind TV in the livingroom about 2.5m from the sofa. At this distance and with whatever obstruction the TV is causing the mouse has been flawless, the keyboard drops connection for about 0.5-1 second occasionally (which is annoying) however moving it only about 0.5m closer (sitting on the edge of the sofa) completely removes this and I'd never had it happen when it was set up on desk.
Battery life is really very solid, I've owned both for almost a year and have only had to change out the originally supplied ones . I'm only using Ikea Ladda rechargables as the replacements and the mouse shows full bars (I tend to leave it on on 'Endurance') and the keyboard half bars after probably 4 months of use.

Glad I was right.

100% yes, but as said - only if you planning to play on TV frequently.
Even for occasional TV plays it’s worth the comfort/precision.

Decided against it, then saw the shifter less version for £120.
Need to get a stand now -

Probably a lot to do with the fact that I've got a G25 which only has 2 pedals so my main reason to upgrade would be for a clutch, but I'd recommend picking up the shifter too.
Mine has a sequential stick as well as paddles and I always use the stick unless it's with a car that actually has paddles.
Also, I didn't bother with a stand, just clamped to the desk. Means it's a lot quicker to get set up so I actually use it more. Don't think I'd bother as often if I had to set up a stand each time (assuming it's not going to be a permanent fixutre, which may be incorrect)

Designed and built meself a new rig recently...
That's before adding the shifter and button box. Fortunately it's not longer in the living room but it's hard to photograph in-situ cos there's not much space. Hence making the pedal box slidey so it's as compact as possible when not in use.

Ha, ha, that's one dangerous driver off the streets. :)
Can we call you 'sparco' now?

Thats incredible. I'd love something like that myself but space is an issue. What games are you mostly using that on?

That moment when your mate receives, after waiting 20 years, the special limited edition Shenmue ... and since it arrived to his parents’ house his dad opens the parcel with a Stanley.

That's very cool.
Has anyone used / found a decent folding stand that I can stick behind the sofa for the 99% of the time it's not in use?
Will check that out, thanks.
I ended up downloading Mechwarrior. X-Com with giant robots in space? Sounds fun. :D
