Just received a 20 inch (406) wheelset from China.
Perfectly nice, except it is made for presta valves. I am discovering now that pretty much all 20 inch inner tubes on the market are schrader.
Someone, mentioned to me that I should just drill the hole bigger. Yay or nay?
And would anyone know how big the drill bit should be?
Yes you can drill valve holes larger. Used to do it to MTB rims. The hole should be slightly bigger than the valve! Carefully file off burrs to prevent damage to the valve stem.
