  • I'm now feeling slightly sheepish about my old man buying all the gloucester tickets! Going to have to up my christmas present game this year...

  • Quin's has always been on the expensive side. For a long time they were able to charge what they liked being the only London based premiership club and they sold well to the corporate hospitality set. Even with Sarries playing in Barnet these days they have a catchment that includes folk with a much larger average disposable income that combined with a relatively small capacity means ticket prices remain high. Glaws is a different matter I can't see them being able to charge as much, even when I used to watch wasps when they played in High Wycombe their prices were about 40 to 50% cheaper than quins.

  • Aye, that makes sense. I've been to the stoop quite a few times but never had to pay as was a guest of bloodgate's own Tom Williams as my flatmate was best friends with his fiance... Now need to work out how much I want to watch the Quins - Ulster game in a couple weeks...

Pretty much why we ditched our season tickets - £400 for front row seats on the 22, constantly yelling at people to stop dithering and either keep walking to the bar or just fuck off back to their seats, and more and more games being on a Friday evening, meaning family fun times was not happening.

The last Ulster Quins game was fun though - brother-in-law being an Ulsterman and all.
