    2.5 minutes over 100km, does that think about the different on the rear hub from a low end to high end? (Could that be closer to 5 minutes?)

    All I know is that if those maths are correct people are overpaying for their dynamos.

  • I’m not sure people are over paying as such. The weight to an SP is a chunk - if your looking to build a lightweight bike then that certainly comes into it.

    You also have the aesthetic side of things, then the support if you have any issues etc.

    I have an old Shimano and it’s great, also have 2 Jtek hubs and an SON and each can’t really be faulted

    I've been paying silly money for hubs that don't even help me to see where I'm going!
