It was phone only, kind of.

O2 split their deals into a phone amount and a contract amount. So you might get a 2yr £35pm deal which is £15 for phone and £20 for minutes/data.
You can cancel the £20pm part and you then need to pay off the phone bit in a lump, so 24x£15 for example but then the phone is yours.
So in that deal you got the contract, cancelled the minutes as soon as they send you the phone, and then pay off the phone for £329 and all's good.

I presume it's sold out then?

Oh right, I didn’t know it was possible to do that, I would have thought if you cancelled the contract you’d have to return the phone. Thanks for explaining 🙂

That deal seems to be gone. May just try have my phone repaired and keep it going a while longer.
