Had a couple of punctures in Schwalbe Ones (one each, front rear) in the past couple of weeks. Put around 650 miles into them and they look like Freddy Kruger's been at them.
They do ride nice, but I don't think they'll make it until the spring at this rate.
What's a good tough 30mm tyre people are running that's not too slow?
-

i've used 28mm durano raceguard folding for thousands of kms and only had one puncture (a massive chunk of sharp glass that killed the tyre completely)

Thanks for the tip. £14.50 on Merlin. Bagged a couple.

I had the same issues with Schwalbe Ones, lovely ride but not tough enough for the shite I have to ride.
Was happy with the planetx rolly poly, but after about 1200/1300 miles the rear tyre had noticeably worn and has too many punctures recently. Will be going for Duranos next time I'm in the market.

32 mile round commute + any extra training, any reason not to get the Pirelli Cinturato TLR in 32c?
They look thick but fast.Speak now or forever hold your peace.

• #6734
Get them, they're very nice.
-
• #6735
Excellent, had found your comments on buying them a few months back.. they must still be doing good then!
-
• #6736
They feel thick in hand, but once on the wheels with 45/50 psi feel really good. I've got em tubeless on 19mm internal rims, with lbs calipers they measure 31.75, so pretty true to size.

Migrated from 25c Continentals to 32c Gravel Kings, what a revelation! Glides over the shite on my ride home, no mild off-road or anything just the entire gamut of poor broken slimy ass commuter surfaces

Still in the 20th century here and so after some GP4000ii in 23mm or Specialized Turbo in 24mm. Anybody got some lying around and can post?
Thanks -
• #6739
How urgent? I've got a 23c gp4000sii I think but I'm not sure when I'll get to the postie
-
• #6740
No rush; baby imminent + winter = little chance for riding. I'll PM.

I'm after some tyres for my wife's road bike for commuting in London. Has anyone got any good condition 25mm 700c 4 seasons they want to shift or any other 25/700 winter tyres in decent nick?
-
• #6742
I might have some, although I might have given them away already. I can look in the basement tomorrow...
-
• #6743
I've got a set coming off my wife's bike actually, sizing up to a 28. let me double check condition and send you a photo.

Anyone want a pair of 38 brown Gravelkings?
-
• #6748
I have a pair. About 300miles in them.
-
• #6749
slick or SK?
-

Slick
Trainer tires. Are they worth the bunce? Or should I just pick up a cheapo tire off here/anywhere else?
On that note, anyone got a cheap 23/25 x 700c that they want rid of?
