Got to be honest, I love that.
I’d struggle so much not to if I hadn’t just dropped a load on another disc trucker frameset..

what a beast
SOLD I want to build myself another mtb frame and with 3 already in the fleet, adding one more would be pushing it so I'm offering the Hummus for sale as a bare frame*
Bought from these pages in mid 2016 and continually fettled and rebuilt since, I've added a disc mount, removed the canti posts and rerouted the brake cable under the toptube instead of on top of it. I've also added a brazed on brass headtube badge.
I originally tig welded a slotted disc mount on but totally forgot about aligning the slots with the dropouts so I'd had to space the caliper out with a random variety of washers, I've now replaced that mount with one which, despite my best efforts, still isn't 100% aligned to the dropout slots but is a million times better! Hey, if you wanted perfect you'd walk into Evans and buy some off the shelf aluminium piece of crap right? It now takes a caliper with a +20mm is-post adapter and a 160mm rotor and you now can get the wheel in and out without removing the caliper!
The paint is hammerite which I brush painted on. It is chipped and worn and just all out missing where I've brazed the disc mount. I've coated the inside of the frame with either framesaver or dinitrol.
Measurements are as follows,
18" centre of bb to top of tt.
22.5" centre to centre (effective) tt.
5"/125mm headtube length.
Roughly 68deg head angle and 71deg seat angle with the 450mm a2c fork I was using.
A 2.4" tyre on a wide rim fits in it with plenty of mudroom. The 2.8" tyre on my klunker seems like it'd fit through the seatstays but probably not the chainstays.
*I am keeping most of the parts to put on the frame I'm about to build but I might be persuaded to part with the Orange P7 fork.
I'm also willing to discuss any further modifications you'd like done to the frame.
SOLD I'd like £120 for the frame, which includes UK postage and paypal fees. SOLD
