Ale, Beer, Stout appreciation

What are you thinking of getting? Would depend on the style, but probably not more than 48 hours or so.

Was looking at Delirium, the Belgian beer, but I'd be the only one drinking it.
8 pints of an 8% beer would destroy me.

Was hoping it'd last a week or so, will just get a selection pack of ales in.

Something that strong might last a little better, but if you're the only person drinking it, then yeah, I'd go for bottles.

I tried the Table larger on tap a few weeks ago, it had real flavour, very impressed.

I picked up Necessary Evil and Runaway BBA Imp (as well as the same non bba imp) this eve.

Having the runaway bba imp with my dinner shortly...

Oh, and a bottle of Gorlovka from Acorn Brewery; probably Barnsley's greatest contribution to the world.

Nice selection! Today's pick up for me is a 13% bourbon barrel aged Imperial stout from local Hackney brewery Howling Hops.

They look great, I think I had a sour similar to that in Craft in Brixton last week. It was really farmyardy and REALLY sour. Loved it.

Stoaked about Siren's 2019 Caribbean Chocolate Cake stouts launching this Thursday. The Old Fountain and Pembury Tavern will have all four on tap.

Chatting to my LBS guy and he's getting all four in bottles.

Hello xmas beer...

Bottles? Thought they were can-only these days. I like the idea of bottles, seems more suitable to "laying down". Drank a 2017 Ginger CCC the other night, mmmmm.

My local has the regular plum porter on cask and it’s an absolute dream. A luxury Guinness and black currant (which is my guilty pleasure).
