Well I've still not even had so much of an acknowledgement from the company that runs the 388 (or tfl) and the minimum time limit for disposal of the CCTV is rapidly approaching.
So whilst he might think I'm a lunatic, I've added the CEO of the bus company on linkedin (and he very quickly accepted my request) which enabled me to send him a polite message about how his company can't even be bothered to acknowledge an email from someone who tells them one of their buses was being driven by a lunatic.
Try sending them a subject access request (assuming that you were in a position where you'd have been caught on the CCTV cameras on the bus). That should hopefully give you another avenue to make them keep the CCTV.
