Non watch question. Did someone on this thread mention Brabantia bins recently? Search option isn’t finding it for me.
-
• #39804
Not that I recall. What is the question??

• #39805
You need a NATO strap for the bin?
-
• #39806
I do! Buggered if I can remember where the thread is.

Someone mentioned the model of bin which I am after and I cannot find it.
-
• #39809
That’s the one with the pedal. I don’t think that was it.
This is waaaayyyy off topic on this tread. -

I think you’re talking about the one where you press the lid and it goes click and opens with a spring.
I think it was TS (@>>>>>>) lamenting that he sold his to someone for cheap when he moved to Australia, and he never found anything as good and they’re stupidly expensive over there. I remember because I’d recently got the same off gumtree for £25 and it’s really really amazing. #csb
Sorry that doesn’t help you with the actual model. But it’s a really nice bin.
Edit - there’s a sticker at the back that says "Brabantia Touch Bin"

Great. Thanks for that, that’s exactly then info I wanted.
Next prob, will my wife like that as a Christmas prezzie or will I be living in it from Boxing Day. -
• #39812
^Once bought my wife a quality bin for Christmas. Didn't end well.

Geneva, Patek Philippe Museum. It's pretty close to the centre of Geneva and Geneva is the place to see if you like watches. There are some other nice things to do in Geneva in the unlikely event that you get bored looking at watches.

Another recommendation for Geneva. Incredible for watch window shopping and plenty of excellent 2nd hand watch shops to browse.
If you do end up going, be sure to take the train to the Olympic museum in Lausanne. Hands down the best museum in the world, bar none, and if you don't agree you 're a big smelly poo poo head. Jokes aside, its well worth a visit. You'll have an ear to ear grin when you've finished and the location is stunning too. Good for non sports fans too.

^ seconded. Few nice bike things to drool over in there. Including Fabian Cancellara's helmet.

@inchpincher mine is (I think) as far to the left as possible but still clasps in an awkward spot. Also incredibly difficult to hook the buckle! Any ideas please?

Hook it once then use the stretch and adjustment to put it on and off after that

Now this is lovely!
How many millions?
Surely the strap is on the wrong side.
