2 tins of beans, I like black beans and chickpeas but you can use whatever is handy. A small onion chopped as fine as you can. Oats, blitzed to a fairly fine flour but you don't have to get fancy, 50-80g depending how wet your beans are.
Mash the beans, add the onion and seasoning. Again, whatever you like. I usually use soy sauce, cumin, paprika and chilli. Add a generous amount, it'll take a lot of seasoning. Then add the oats a bit at a time until you can form burgers. Usually makes 4 big ones. Of you can just roll little patties for snack size. Then fry them until browned.
Fav sides for dinner and are stir fry broccoli and roasted sweet potato 💕
Thank you for the ideas!
I like the idea of some kind of rolls!
Regarding the bean burger bites - what recipe do you use?
I really liked the Post Punk Kitchen one in the past but can't stand the vital wheat gluten stringy-texture-ness anymore, it really puts me off now actually..
Ha, yea, that's aways plan BÙ! Though I'm really trying to find something savoury / less sugar-y..
