Imagine that certainly is a Ron built one. Bought a Ron built grass track Frame badges as a Bates from the guy who actually bought the Bates name and had Ron build all his frames.
Special bike - good luck with the sale - you should keep it though ;)

I am selling this remarkable machine, one of the highlights of my collection.
It’s a Bates track frame, set up in single speed.
It is constructed from cantiflex tubes, and has a diadrant fork.
I believe this frame was made by the late, great Ron Cooper, and the quality of the workmanship shines through.
Wheels are record hubs on Open Pro Rims. Brake levers appear to be Record, brake calipers are modern chorus.
Seat Post is twin bolt Campagnolo (I think Record), and the Saddle is a Brooks Cambium.
