There were definitely 2 years that the Red Bull was the best car on the grid, personally I wouldn't put it at the same level of dominance as the current Mercs. But then again, Alonso seemed to be massively over-delivering so it's hard to judge.
The other 2 years were probably the two best championship fights since I started watching in the early 90s.
Don't think anyone will disagree that the past few seasons have been pretty horrible for him. Personally I put it down to overdriving too often as the relative performance hasn't been there in the Ferrari for the most part (despite what Merc or SkySports might say!)

Agree on Alonso but not so sure about Vettel. If i remember correctly 2 of those 4 seasons RB showed similar dominance to the Mercs but ultimately i'm basing my opinion on the last 5 years. Too few moments of brilliance, way too many mistakes.
