• Check the earth straps and what disconnecting and reconnecting the alternator does to the readings. That way you can see if anything changes.

    Main fuseboard trick can give you an idea what area and then go in to each sub system. Traced issues on an Alfa 159 that had central locking motor that was not going to the right closed position. That took ages to find as the sub system kept cycling and not going to the off position.

  • Great will have a go, car isn't going to do many regular miles which never helps.
    Volvo still getting rebuilt, that thing can sit for months on end and doesn't seem to have any issues with starting etc.
