Cheers but I've thrown the 700C wheels on now while I try and sort out the slicks I had for the 650Bs. Waiting on rim tape to re-tape one of them.

2 punctures in 2 short rides on 37c Conti Sport Contact II.
I know they’re cheap but that’s a bit rubbish, either that or it’s just bad luck.. -
• #6681
I think it's bad luck.
-
• #6682
Bad luck, I have done more than 1000 km this year commuting without a single puncture.
-
• #6683
Aye I didn’t have any in a year and 2k or so
-
• #6684
I’ve also punctured twice in as many weeks on a pair of new Grand Prix Urban however I think that’s bad luck too and I otherwise quite like them

I've had 1000miles puncture free on the rolly polys, but have had 3 punctures in the last two rides. Just the way it goes sometimes. Unless you're running marathons, you'll probably puncture at some point.

Just rode Dartmoor Devil with the Planet X mile munchers 25.5, and they handled the unmetalled roads, exposed hardcore, windfall tree litter and deep water very well. Pleasantly surprised given the price.

Just fitted marathon supremes to my sister-in-laws bike, and then she had a puncture on day 2.
Some punctures just can’t be prevented 🤷🏼♂️ -

Guess it's true that some punctures are unavoidable, I was thinking regular marathons though, Supreme's are a bit thinner and nicer rolling. I've stuck 3500miles on some green guards with no punctures. Bit of a wooden ride but I'm never worried about flats.

due to my inability to find a replacement panaracer pasela PT folding in 700x35 i'm looking for replacement recommendations.
would prefer 35mm as i've got 45mm guards, tanwall if poss?
mainly for all weather commuting + a bit of light off roady grav-grav shenanigans.
don't want to go too spendy as i'll need to buy a pair.(unless by chance anyone has a spare pasela PT folding tanwall in 700 x 35 for sells?)

Have you had a look at the new Pirelli gravel range?

If you can squeeze in a 38mm, these are a good price at the mo.
