It used to be all bikes inside.
Currently two bikes inside, the commuters, used to have them in the hallway in a 3 bed flat. Though I also lock mine up in the communal stairwell, 4th floor of 6.
Other four bikes are downstairs on the ground floor in a Pram shed/storage storage space, which is behind a metal fence and you need to enter the block to get to..
I’d never consider leaving a bike locked up outside the block overnight.
Bikes live inside.
Thinking about buying a house, where bikes are stored, or can be stored is a big factor in the decision making process..
