So an updated 5k and an egpu is the way to go? Found a few blog posts last night about later versions of Sketch offloading more work on the gpu compared to earlier versions

Yeah, but you'll also need a special cable which costs about 80 quid. Some VR cable which splits Display port and USB.
Interesting about Sketch offloading to GPU, can't wait to get all my stuff set up again, living on a building site atm and im going crackers.

Just started googling egpus and had to quit. This isn't why I use a mac. Just let me buy an expensive shiny box that works. Cable included please.
