  • The Mandalorian...do I need to be a completist Star Wars fan to enjoy?

  • Nah. You'd probably do well to have watched the original trilogy and remember how everything ends up after ROTJ. It's pretty easy viewing as it goes.

  • lol, the second episode is only 27 minutes.

  • Man In the high castle - did guilty lol at the swastika on top of the Christmas tree.

  • Little disappointed with the end of Man In A High Castle. Seemed very rushed, could of done stretching to a S5.

Moved on to 'The Purge' instead.

  • The Leftovers. I didn't think they'd top season 1 but holy fuck these last few episodes have been outstanding

Bit of a late reply but I just finished the second season and gotta say it took me a while to get into it as it's kind-of really different from the first one..
    ..absolutely loved it though.

This is probably the best drama TV series I've watched in the last ten years, makes so much of what's out there look like total crap.

  • Catching up on watchmen. Good enit. Jeremy Iron's stealing the show.

  • Guilt, from BBC Scotland, available in i-player. Pretty entertaining semi-comedy-thriller with a slightly Coen brothers-like plot.

  • yes yes yes!

  • Yes to Guilt, very good first episode.

  • The Boys is very, very good. On episode 5 now.

  • ^^ I started watching the first episode of Guilt and had 15 or 20 minutes of thinking, this is very odd, I haven't a clue what's going on, before realising I'd started watching episode 4.

  • I don’t usually dare enter this thread because I’m overly adverse to spoilers.

Anyone else watch the show ‘Easy’ on Netflix? I’m just getting into season 2, I’m obsessed, I genuinely think some of them are mini masterpieces, e.g. the Amazon package thief. 💕

  • Yeah, easy was great.

  • E6 of Watchmen is a bit good

  • The soundtrack is wonderful too. I don’t want it to end.

I’ve never watched or listened to Marc Maron before this either, think I’ll check out his show once I’m done.

  • It was.
Rick and Morty was fun too.

  • Yeah, it’s one of my favourites from Netflix. Some really excellent episodes.

There’s a super emotional one from the last series that’s brilliant.

  • Tuesday is my favourite night atm, top night of couch potatoness... All very good, even R&M was OK...

  • Really enjoying mandalorian thing is easy pew pew star wars stuff but looks great and ep 2 reminds me of lone wolf and cub. Been ill so was good watching

  • Rick and Morty was fun too.

    Indeed!

"I don't really get it, but it sounds like that's the point!"

Gotta admit I kinda forgot how twisted / 'wtf' Rick and Morty is..

  • Finally got round to finishing off the deuce, last scene was a bit of an unnecessary tug at the heart strings but definitely one of the best shows I've ever watched.

  • Which episode got you? Just finished season 3 now myself, but gotta say I didn’t enjoy it anywhere near as much as the first two.

  • The one where they meet in the bar.

  • Generation Kill has popped up on Amazon for cheap...worth a go if you missed it first time round. It ages pretty well.
