True! Great if you're a Marquez Fan but this season has been a drag. Reminds me quite a lot of both Doohan and Rossi at their peak. Bluntly Ducati need someone with Stoner levels of talent and Yamaha need to get their shit together. Being fast at certain tracks in qualifying and in clear air doesn't cut it.
That said, IF yamaha can address the power deficit by half and work on the electronics to get off the corners and hold the tyres better and Honda don't make any huge strides, I think Quartararo will keep Marquez a bit more honest next season.

Quatararo is looking like a promising rival, something Marquez really hasn't had for a long time.
While the season standings do make it look like a complete walkover from Marquez, the majority of the races were still fantastic to watch. Especially when compared to a dominant driver season in F1.
Apparently his brother is going to be racing alongside him for Repsol next season. That seems like career suicide from Alex IMO.
Fingers crossed the Yamaha is a better match for the Honda next year, and that Suzuki can keep up the progress they've made over the past few seasons.

Just watched the last race of the MotoGP season there. Honda winning the team championship with 458 points to Ducati's 445. 420 of Honda's points were scored by Marquez.
That guy is a ridiculous talent.
