Moonrakers & sunseekers was a blast. I was a little worried that the rain would stick around but thankfully it dried off after the first control. Breakfast in the scout hut in Poole was brilliant and the sunrise on the way out was fantastic. A headwind all the way to Lilliput was a pain there was plenty of wonderful scenery to take your mind off it, Milton abbey especially. The strawberry line from Cheddar into control 4 was fairly challenging but good fun non the less. We opted for the full value approach and aimed for 19/20 hrs and were on time and welcomed with dhal and rice at the finish. Mr Pomeroy knows how to put on a great ride. Would highly recommend.
Thoroughly enjoyed by me as well. It could have done with being a little hillier. The A roads and the Somerset levels are a bit tedious but I guess I'm in the minority here. Fantastic ride and good company. 15hrs well spent!
Edit: Just finished cleaning my bike, it was a state.
