Thanks Ed. How about climbing on the flat bars?
I rode the Gary Fisher up a moderate but long climb today and noticed I naturally found myself out the saddle and on the hoods. Did think that the flat bar would effectively force me further back which might be sub optimal for steeper or longer climbs. But I like the idea of more relaxing the rest of the time.
Will probably just stop over thinking it and give it a try.

@Ruserius does Tuesday hills on a similar set up. He has no issues beasting every one on drops
Edit - I believe he’s even used it for the odd Audax as well
Flat bar are much more relaxing, I just went for drop because I want it to feel like a roadie.
