OT: hifi, saris bones bike rack, Orange clockwork retro MTB

Random stuff as we're clearing things out:

1. Saris bones bike rack. Served us well but we've changed cars. £sold? Missing one plastic screw but still works without it and can source a replacement.

2. Cambridge audio A1 MK3 amp. Standard "my first hifi" amp, I had it for 20 years! Would just be a shame if it was chucked as it still has life in it. No longer for sale

3. Orange clockwork MTB. Bought on these pages but no longer needed - have taken from derailleur off so it's running ghetto 1 x gearing, but will give the spare bits. £sold

4. dvd player and VHS - Freecycle, we'll take them to the tip tomorrow if no-one wants these!

Size on orange is a good point.... Med/large? I can't remember geo etc but I ride 56cm road bike and this is the right size for me. Will try and dig out pics

Forest hill! Will try and take some pics and check what state it's in, I probably put it up for sale slightly prematurely as it's in the bike shed after some previous messing around with it to make it a good child carrier but shouldn't be much hassle to drag it out

Would you consider posting the Cambridge Audio amp? I'd be very interested if so!

Hmm I have no idea how to package it up safely for post and what it would cost, if we can solve those issues then yes, happy to post?

Packing and posting an amp is easy. Wrap in plenty of bubble wrap if you can find some, or go nuts with loads of cardboard. Pack tightly in a box. Cover those corners and be aware of the plug!

Parcel2go will help you find your cheapest courier option. UPS normally do it best and it's delivered the next day so avoids risks of being knocked around in a depot for too long.

What's the VHS player? It's worth taking a quick peek on eBay if it says 'SUPER VHS' on it or is a combi player. They can be worth something believe it or not!

Big box, polystyrene and bubble wrap and some postal insurance.

Amp is withdrawn from sale temporarily - fired it up to check it was ok and it has a crackle.

May be relisted if I can sort it out with a clean of the contacts, will update if so...

not sure where the dibs are with the clockwork, but would take and I'm in forest hill also, so can pick up whenever.
