That Holdsworth could do with mudguards, matching wheelset and bigger tyres, if I may. I have an early 60s Soens on its way, I plan to do something similar with it, I've actually considered a centrpull brake, as i'm going from 27 1/4 to 700c too.

Indeed. Fill up the clearances with 35C and go crush some gravel.

Probably right, needs 27" rims rather than 700C.
I have a 1957 A.S.Gillott in the build, just needing period brakes and bars.
