I left my snapped and repaired £50 Shakespeare rod/reel at home :)
Walked the bank and decided wellies would do next time, also the day ticket was £60 because Salmon. when the day price drops to £10 - £20 i will go back.
Went over to the nearest fishery again today. Not so busy so was able to have a quick look at the lakes, grab some garish bright backing line and some braided loops and a pile of catalogues from the rather good shop :) and tales of 20lb rainbow trout in the lakes.....
