• On a 10* stem?

Flipping a 10°×100mm stem changes the spacer stack by 35mm if you want the bars to stay in exactly the same place. By the law of similar triangles, a different length stem varies the change in stack in direct proportion, e.g. 110mm stem gives 1.1×35mm=38.5mm

  • Flipping it also reduces the reach (by about 10mm I think) I feel comfortable on it as is but like the option of flipping it the raise the front end/shorten the reach for “cross/gravé/radventure” whatever you want to call it off road riding. Will see how I get on.
