Not sure I'd want to rely on a bracket to take braking forces, but I think they might be available. Others on here will have experience of them and can comment with more authority. You'll also need to lash the cable to the top tube somehow. Would be a shame to spoil the vig in this way.
Not ridden any other cinelli models but as others have said the geo of the steel vig is spot on. Think road handling rather than track. My only frustration with it was the lack of bottle bosses for a frame that lends itself so well to long road rides.
That's right on the Steel vig - i assume that one would have to stay fixed? (or is there any way to mount a break without drilling..?) The alu models are actually pre-drilled for rear break, funny enough.
